Mark
Entner - CEO
Mark
comes with 19 years of event experience from his work at
the OC Fair & Event Center. His career began in the "Sanitation"
department picking up trash with many of his teammates from
the Mater Dei High School football team working to raise
money to play their first game in Hawaii. From there, he
worked his way through the Organization in the area of event
services spending most of his time developing and leading
the parking operations team to the department of the year
during the 1998 OC Fair. In 1999, after attending Loyola
Marymount University's School of Business, Mark started
working full-time at the OC Fair & Event Center in the Event
Sales & Services Department managing most of the revenue
streams of the organization and event services. Mark was
instrumental in achieving the organization's vision of becoming
a true "Event Center" in the heart of Orange County, he
led the Events program from a gross revenue of $1 million
to $5 million per year during the 9 years he oversaw that
program.
Mark's secret to success is his relationship building skills,
business sense, creativity, team building skills, and the
ability to listen, learn and have fun and that is why you

Jana
Nelson - COO
Jana
comes with 11 years of event experience from her work at
the OC Fair & Event Center. Her career began as a parking
attendent during the 1998 OC Fair with other teammates on
her Cal State Fullerton Softball team. Jana quickly learned
the fairgrounds was a great place to work as she continued
her education at Cal State Fullerton. After completing her
education in 2000 her passion for law enforcement shifted
to a passion for the events industry as an Event Coordinator
in the Event Sales and Services Department at the OC Fair
& Events Center. During this time she balanced leading
the parking operations team while building quality relationships
with event producers and helping them set their events up
for success. Jana went on to supervise the Event Sales and
Services Department managing the day to day functions of
the year-round events program, commercial and concessions
program, guest services, parking operations, parking sales
and concession audits. She was instrumental in developing
trusting relationships with long term partners, event promoters,
fair vendors, public agencies and the community.
Jana's secret to success is her strong work ethic, excellent
organizational skills, care for the customer, relationship
building skills, ability to learn, listen and bring teamwork
and a fun environment to the business. These are just a

Once Mark and Jana began working together, it was no secret
that they were two that would be movers and shakers in the
Events Industry. Now after years of experience and building
strong relationships in most aspects of the events industry
they are ready to provide event services that are in line
with their mission of building world-class events and trusting
relationships through creative solutions and quality services.
Jamie
Gonzalez
- Office Manager
Jamie
started gaining event management experience working as a
parking attendant at the OC Fair in 2001. Within a short
period of time, she moved into the Parking Office and worked
there for several years before taking a break to focus on
her career in Special Education. In 2008, she helped start
and manage a new department for the OC Fair, Year-Round
Parking Sales.
There
she managed almost 30 sales staff, monitored all cash handling,
and was able to produce a new stream of revenue for the
fairgrounds. She was responsible for building processes
to ensure a good system of checks and balances while handling
more than half a million dollars in revenue.
She
provided customer service to those customers who were upset
with the new paid parking policy, and managed bring in more
revenue than anticipated. Once she left the OC Fair in 2009,
she continued her event management experience with Absolute
Event Solutions. Now she currently manages the office for
AES, and is continuing her education to get her degree in
Communicative Disorders. In addition to her time with AES,
Jamie is also a private caregiver for children with Autism.
Kristy
Gonzalez - Finance Manager

Kristy Gonzalez, a graduate and scholar athlete
from California State University, Fullerton, pursued her
professional career in Auditing & Accounting. Her professional
experience consists of 5 years as an auditor, primarily
auditing municipalities, non-profit organization, school
districts & county hospitals. In 2004, she shifted her career
to domestic engineering where she spent more time raising
her three daughters, Madison, Lauren, & Lyla. In order to
keep her accounting practices exercised, she volunteered
her bookkeeping services to other domestic engineers working
from their homes. In 2010, she reconnected with her passion
for auditing, as Audit Coordinator for the Orange County
Fair and Event Center. As Audit Coordinator, she managed
the event and food service revenues during the annual OC
Fair totaling more than $15 million in revenues.
In
addition to spending time with the AES family, she enjoys
giving back to the community by coaching girls softball,
leading a Girl Scout Troop and volunteering in the classroom.
