Professional Experience Summary

• Over 30 years of combined experience producing and hosting a wide variety of events from concerts to consumer shows.
• Developed, led and motivated a team that built a successful events program, Fair program and Pacific Amphitheater program.
• Built strong revenue streams and efficient operations in diverse programs throughout the Orange County Fairgrounds.
• Increased year-round events program from approximately 75 to 150 annual events.
• Increased annual year-round events program revenue from 1 million dollars to 5 million dollars.
• Increased annual food and beverage revenue during the OC Fair from 7 million dollars to over 12 million dollars.
• Directed the development of a premium commercial space program during the OC Fair that grew revenue by over 300% in 2008.
• Fostered a collaborative and excellent relationship with long-term partners such as the Orange County Market Place, Ovations Foodservices, Ray Cammack Shows and the City of Costa Mesa.
• Developed and led a committee of managers in developing the annual fair layout of more than 600 vendors, 5 stages, 3 main entrances, 5 themed attraction zones, more than 20 acres of midway entertainment and all the necessary back of house support services.
• Responsible for an annual budget totaling more than 18 million dollars.
• Developed and implemented event marketing and promotional strategies to build revenues.
• Led the building of strong customer service standards in Guest Services, Parking and Security, Parking Sales, Commercial & Concessions, Premium Space, Sponsorships, Year-Round Events, Event Operations and Pacific Amphitheatre front of house operations.
• Developed and led a reinvestment program for independent food and beverage operators participating in the OC Fair, resulting in new and renovated food stands.
• Cultivated and attracted major new events to the fairgrounds, including Cirque Du Soleil, America's Family Pet Expo, Sand Sport Super Show, Extreme Motorsports Expo, Scottish Festival, and many others as shown in the listing below.
